Clogher Strand, Dingle, Co. KerryThe waves at Clogher were relentless that afternoon. Big, heavy Atlantic swells pounding the rocks on either side of the strand, sending spray across the headland below Sybil Head. Not the kind of conditions that make setting up a tripod on wet sand particularly relaxing. I wanted to slow the exposure down and let that incoming surf flatten out across the beach. The tide was pushing in fast, which meant repositioning every few minutes to keep my feet
